Welcome 2026!

I’m SUPER LATE to the party and, given the state of… everything, the irony is strong with this one, but I didn’t want to let the year begin without this routine post.

As usual, things rarely go as planned. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, and some things for the better, some things for the worse. But we oughta keep going, making the most of what does or doesn’t happen. Personally, I’d rather not be too stubborn with my plans, as the universe might pleasantly surprise me with what’s most suitable. So I gracefully allow it, maintaining some flexibility. The real test, then, is whether or not we give up on our highest good when it doesn’t look so promising, remembering to look for opportunities or create them ourselves.

I was hoping this year would be a more easygoing one, a period to return to artsy crafts, without rushing or dangers lurking in the corner. However, as it turned out, it is going to be one keeping me alert and active. I’d make it worse by staying frustrated about it, hanging on to what I didn’t get, but I’ll instead take it as an opportunity to finish building the most solid foundations I can possibly build for what will be the rest of my life. I’ll pay attention, revise, and correct. As well as take notes for what else I could be tackling in the future. In terms of topics and more.

It is also the year when I finally, FINALLY, get to make my space neat & tidy enough to be completely unbothered, at last. I had my messy creative phase, which was much needed (thank you for tolerating it), and soon I’ll instead be operating smoothly. Authentically so. You will see me making many changes, improvements, and enhancements throughout the year, but I promise they’ll be worth it.

About this much, I am excited. So much so that it is difficult to keep myself from sharing all the updates that I already know are coming. But they’re coming, indeed. Just stay tuned!

This year, I wish everyone fighting the good fight: much courage, discernment, cooperation, perseverance, and victory. May you be able to let go of what is holding you back and reach for what will pull you forward. We are all creators and co-creators of reality - and that is a fact.

Let’s all create something amazing!

3 Habits for Longevity

Doing your best and giving your all is great. Being intensely invested, hyper-focused, and making the most of every second can indeed get you far, may even come with a thrill. But that will be short-lived, causing you to then fall behind, if you don’t also factor in what would promote longevity.

• Taking Care & Resting
We know we have to and we hear we ought to. Yet, so often, we’re guilty of neglecting this extremely important matter. There is always an emergency or an urgency with something somewhere. And it’s natural to be compelled to tend to it. Furthermore, life gets shorter and shorter, and that makes it more and more tempting to fill our schedules and our to-do lists with as much as we could possibly cover. It is good to be that motivated into action. However, in order to continue to be so, we must also make sure that we are properly taking care of ourselves and resting the appropriate amount. It may seem like a setback in the moment, but it is instead ensuring that you continue to be motivated and taking action, without that gradually or abruptly declining.

• Unwinding & Meditating
What happens if you start throwing various items, of different kinds, into a room? What if they keep coming, more and more, without an end to it? The pile of items grows while the room remains the same size. Soon, you’ll start harshly pushing them in to ‘make space’ for more, though with little success. Some may even break. Many will bounce back. And then, when you try to find anything, what a mess! Not only that, you completely miss out on which items went with which other items. Does this seem like an ideal, or even reasonable, situation to you? This is basically what happens when you don’t take time to unwind and meditate. You’ve inundated your psyche with information that you haven’t processed (or, if due, released). Quite likely, it will make you restless and irritable too. Not to mention clueless and confused. You might eventually explode, along with carrying a sense of heaviness that gets worse and worse. So next time you feel like sitting back and staring into the distance, there’s a chance it is more productive than it may seem.

• Being Selective with ‘No’ and ‘Yes’
And firm about it. There is only so much that you can take on. And not only that. There is only so much that does align with you, is meant for you, and will take you closer to your highest you. A majority of things are mere distractions and delays, many of them harmful to your being if not just depleting. You might not always be able to tell which is which, but as soon as you realize that a ‘No’ is merited, you can give it without remorse. This doesn’t exempt you from accountability and responsibility, however, do not get it twisted out of convenience. This is reserved for what would actually keep you or hold you back from your greater version, where you can be abundant and generous. And be able to say ‘Yes’, to more that’s worthwhile, without issue.

Take a moment to reflect. What is lacking in you that could use some work? What can you work on personally developing now?

3 Attitudes For Excellence

Previously, 5 Traits to Stand Out were brought up. Adding to that, here is more toward excellence.

If you’re doing the work and wish to keep going forward, it is fundamental to adopt certain attitudes with which you will receive and respond to most if not all things. Let them sink down into the core of you to operate by default on their own. If you dare.

• Competing Against Yourself
When you don’t have a point of reference, it is indeed constructive to look around and compare yourself to others to then compete against them. However, this has a few pitfalls. What if what they’re good at is not what you ought to be good at? And what if you’re already the best one around at that particular thing? What happens then? You’re led astray or you hit a cap. Therefore, it is important to learn to push yourself based on higher and higher standards that you set for yourself regardless. It is not about taking it easy and letting yourself fall behind. On the contrary, it is about constantly taking a look at yourself and admitting where you’re failing or lacking on your path toward actualization and addressing it.

• Maturing & Evolving
There is often such needless resistance to mature and evolve. And that’s understandable as this is (mistakenly) associated with dying and losing yourself. However, there is still joy and wonder in moving onto the different phases and newer versions of you. Becoming cynical and complacent aren’t signs of maturity and evolution, they are signs of giving up - and that’s a significant distinction to make. You don’t have to keep repeating the same mistakes, over and over again, stuck in a loop, to be alive and remain “yourself”. You can instead take what life throws at you and see how it can best shape and forge you into someone greater.

• Embracing Truthfulness
None of this will happen with ease if you have trouble accepting the facts, what is real and ultimately true. Yes, the truth hurts. And yes, too much of it can be debilitating and even paralyzing. But you ought to make room for it. Cushion it and counter it with softer and sweeter truths if you must. Have it in moderation, at intervals if that helps. But at some point, you must welcome it in. And you might find, after all, that the highest truths are the most liberating. And that the most wounding and poisoning “truths” weren’t so true. With practice, you could end up seeking it as much as water and air. And it’ll make it all clear to you.

Take a moment to reflect. What is lacking in you that could use some work? What can you work on personally developing now?

WELCOME 2025!

I don’t know what to expect! There have been so many unexpected twists and turns, some so outrageously massive that they have drastically altered the course of history, so speaking as though I have a clue what 2025 holds might just make me look foolish once it comes and goes.

However, I do know that I’m still enthusiastic and still devoted to my projects. And the more comes together, the more amazing it all is to me. Lots of forming and transforming into something greater. Much in ways I would not have envisioned but that make the most sense after all. (Thank God, The Universe, The Mysterious Forces at Play, for what didn’t work out and for what did work out.)

2024 was “supposed” to be a good year of steady progress for me. Yet, it was instead filled with devastating turmoil, as I had to let go of people I had come to be especially fond of, and revitalizing delight, as people I would not have even dreamed of (looking waaaaay better) showed up in their place. Still kinda reluctant to trust new faces (can’t blame me, the world is rotten), but it is nonetheless amazing! That and the priceless abundance of support and assistance throughout all the trials and tribulations.

2025? Well, I’m hoping it’ll keep surprising me with better and better. I’ll do my part, giving my best and making the most of what I can, and the rest is out of my hands. More specifically, though, I aim to bring enough to a state of completion and at last have that sense of being firmly and indisputably established. Heck, I might be one surprising you all with better and better. Looking forward to that! (And keeping the suspense...)

I know, I know. It can seem grim for many of us right now. But let’s keep on surviving and even thriving, no matter what!

New Year Month

January arrives again!
And with it, back to another start, the New Year mood.

5 Traits to Stand Out

Many can get by and even get far with only one or two of these traits. But the more you have (and the higher they are), the better. These are traits that can help you excel and maintain your position in demanding situations. They are also traits that you can, on certain occasions, lean on when falling short in other aspects.

• Reliability
This means no lies, no false promises, no faking for convenience, but showing up as someone who can be counted on and being so. In this same vein, no flaking if you can help it. Drop excuses. This might mean that you will have to get it together and become stable enough to be firm and supportive. Avoid offering more than you can or will deliver. People tend to appreciate being told just how much they can expect from you rather than be left hanging for something that never came, even if it's not as exciting.

• Accountability
Guilt, shame, ego and all that it comes from it can get in the way of being accountable for yourself - of recognizing, admitting, correcting, and compensating for your mistakes and shortcomings, as well as your wrongdoings. Ironically, it is often assumed that this will cause you to lose respect but, in front of respectable people, it is quite the opposite. Because they can already see how you're failing and they're waiting to see if you'll see it too and do something about it or not. And being in denial after it is brought to your attention will make it even worse. Furthermore, accountability puts you on a path of constant improvement that pushes you forward.

• Trustworthiness
What are your values and principles? Have you thoroughly revised them to properly form the beliefs that you're guided by? Do you believe in honesty, sincerity, genuineness, and authenticity but at the same time know that things aren't always black and white and certain circumstances require you to reason beyond them in order to do what's right? Can you abide by what you've sworn or are you tempted to betray? How able are you to say no when you should?

• Craftmanship
Of course, competency matters too. You must strive to do your job well and continue to take it to the next level. Although it is important to have virtues outside of this, you're likely to be forgiven much if what you do is done so well that it's worth it. It is not that you can't ever take it easy or be simple about it, but that you have and meet high-quality standards when you ought to. What these are depends on the purpose of what you do, so they may or may not be as evident and wildly differ. Tend to minute but significant details even when they're overlooked.

• Solidarity
Some may call it naivety, but it is essential for coexistence and existence in general. If you're only looking out for yourself, throwing others under the bus to get ahead, being no more than a leech whenever you can, not only will you be unlikeable (despite however you may try to mask it) but you'll also literally be a disease to the world or whatever environment you're in. And it's sad, but practicing solidarity isn't even as hard as others would attempt to convince you of. You can extend a hand in small ways, here and there, every now and then, and that's already working miracles. Be discerning and don't let others take advantage of you, but continue to assist.

Welcome 2024!

So it’s here! Another brand new year to make plans and prepare for. You can start any time but starting along with the year can get us an extra boost.

Personally, I’d rather not jump into much action right away. Instead, the beginning is my time to make plans and preparations for what will be the rest of the year - or at least for what I intend it to be, which may or may not happen precisely the same. In my case, though, it is more productive to aim at and push toward something than not do so at all because the future is uncertain and there are no guarantees. If you know me already, you probably already know this.

I am excited for this year! I’ve done my part in putting things in place so that I can do more this year with more ease. This is a year I’ll take as the chance to, at last, revisit some of the works I’ve loved the most in the art realm and attempt to make some of the works I’ve yearned to someday do. I expect it to be very art-filled. And ideally, bring back more of the magic that was lost as the years went by.

I’m immensely grateful to those who’ve helped me get to this point, where I can do what fulfills me. I wish you all a great year in which you’ll make significant progress in the direction that best serves you!

New Year Celebration

In January, we celebrate the New Year!

Finally, the past is in the past.
This is a new beginning you can start fresh with.
Set some goals, make some plans,
and give yourself 12 months to do as much as you can for it.
There will be ups and downs and setbacks, but you've got this.

New Year, 2023!

It’s the new year!
We’ve made it to 2023!

Normally, one would say “Happy New Year!” but, after the years we’ve had since 2020, I’m reluctant to exclaim that. Instead, I’ll wish you a year that you can handle, make progress in, and ultimately be fulfilled by. And if it will be awful, may it at least be intriguing and fascinating.

I have been setting up for this year, settling and planning, so you’ll have me around - maybe more than you’d like! But in any case, feel free to tune in and out as you must or prefer. During 2023, I will be mostly busy making and scheduling content to complete a program throughout the year. But you’re always welcome to contact me for any inquiries!

Let's go forward!🎉
